Award-winning filmmaker Su Friedrich will be giving a free lecture on the College of Charleston campus October 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Here's a bit about Friedrich's work from the College's press release:
The New York Times has called her films "intensely self-revelatory and formally complex." They address such varied subjects as nature, lesbian adolescence, the symbolic significance of the automobile, and the global economic significance of a cup of coffee.
The event will take place in the admissions auditorium in the Robert Scott Small Building. For more information on the event and Friedrich, click here.
