The Solid Waste Authority is opening a resale store to sell used and discarded items such as golf clubs, books and other goods.
The resale store will be the first of its kind in the area with proceeds going to help with their meals for seniors program. The inspiration came from a similar organization that is in Ann Arbor, Mich., that store has been in business for 11 years.
$50,000 was allotted for the project but those in charge say that that much will not be needed. To read the full story, including how much money they are looking to take in for their charities, job opportunities and where SWA resale store will be hop on over to The Sun News.
