Scorched earth: More changes in the battle of downtown Beaufort's parking meters

An arrow directs parkers to the nearest meter, while the larger number in the parking spot has been blacked out.
Another month and another chapter has unfolded in the quest to make Beaufort's new electronic meters easier for tourists and locals.

First they spray painted numbers in the parking spots.
Then they added numbers to the curb.
Now the numbers in the spots are blacked out and the number remains painted on the curb along with an arrow that directs parkers to the nearest meter kiosk.
