New Marine Corps license plate coming, will support Hilton Head group
The Marine veterans group based out of Hilton Head's Moss Creek Plantation, the Moss Creek Marines, have helped push through a new Marine Corps license plate for South Carolina.

As such, the non-profit group will be the recipients of the additional $30 issuance fee for the speciality license plate.
Ratified on June 12, the bill also calls for a "Tree My Dog" plate to support the State Coon Hunters Association Youth Fund, the "United States Navy Chief Petty Officer" plate for the Patriots Point Foundation, and Korean and World War II veterans plates.

South Carolina has some 150 speciality license plates.
