Beaufort restaurants kicking off an inaugural Culinary Month (reminder)
As Restaurant Week South Carolina has come upon us, Beaufort is looking to get in on the action with a slightly different spin: Culinary Month put on by Main Street Beaufort.
(Update January 22: Just a little reminder that the events are ongoing, and are on for tonight.)
The month's events span Fridays and Saturdays on January 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, and February 4 and 5 at five downtown restaurants. All will offer a price fixed (aka prix fixe) menu of three courses for $25 that is available with reservations only from 6 to 10 p.m.
And it sounds like the restaurant community is pretty excited. "We are thrilled to be a part of this effort," said Plums Inc. Owner Lantz Price. " What a great way to celebrate the cuisine — and the talent — of our area."
