After 13 years of debate, the tail end of the Cross Island Parkway and Palmetto Bay Road (US 278) on Hilton Head is finally likely to get a speed limit bump to 45 mph.
Update May 24: The Island Packet writes that new 45 mph speed limit signs are up at the end of the Cross Island Parkway .
