Downtown Beaufort Farmers Market returns with a new location (Update: There to stay)

The Downtown Beaufort Farmers Market is back Wednesday, May 16, and will run every Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. through October 31st.
This year they may move from the small Freedom Park to a new location — that's up for a hearing at Tuesday's city council meeting.
The Island Packet talks a bit about the change over here.
Glad to see the change, I've been hoping for years that they would move the market closer to the heart of town.
Update: The market is now closed for this season, but it sounds as though the new location was a hit.
The Island Packet's Erin Moody writes that merchants say business was up and shoppers loved the free parking space.
