When, where, what: A roundup of Beaufort's farmers markets
April 28 update: With word that the downtown Beaufort farmers market will reopen from 2 to 6 p.m., May 4 in Freedom Park and the Buckwalter Place market opening May 3 it appears all of our area farmers markets are officially open for business this season.

Winter update: With the exception of one, all the area markets are closed for winter. The lone standout is the one at Habersham on Fridays.
We all love fresh fruits and vegetables. But our area Farmers Markets offer so much more. Local honey, free range meats and eggs. And not to mention the homemade breads, local flowers and plants, and yes, the Creperie.
But with so many Farmers Markets in the region it sometimes can be hard to know where and when they are.
TheDigitel Beaufort has made that task easier for you by giving you the lowdown on the when and the where on our five markets in the county, and even one over there in Jasper County. You already know the why. (Be sure to check out the map at the bottom.)
