Beaufort County in 2016: Here's a glimpse of what it could be like
Kyle Peterson of The Island Packet published a short post on March 3 about what goals local lawmakers have for Beaufort County within five years.

There are some interesting items on the list include: greater local food production, a fully functional F-35B program in place on the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort (here's some back story on that), and a net gain of 500 jobs.
