I had always thought rule number one at restaurants was to always keep it locked and never open it for someone banging away — apparently that happened at the Lady's Island Subway near Food Lion.
Multiple reports from a release abound on the Saturday morning incident, but I'll point you to the one at WTOC 11.
In related news, there was a failed robbery attempt of the adjoining Food Lion back in July.
