Celebrate World Oceans Day @ ARTworks this Saturday 
free eco-activities and family entertainment
June 16, 10 to 3pm
10-3- build the whale-sized “Locomocean” sculpture with artist Terry Brennan
10-3- tables of family eco-activities from Yoga Chandra, Friends of Hunting Island, Beaufort Conservation District, Beaufort County, SC Sea Grant Consortium, Clemson U. Extension, the Port Royal Sound Foundation, Parris Island’s Natural Resources & Environmental Affairs Office, and Beaufort Jasper Sewer & Water Authority, with dumpster-capacity help from Waste Management. 
10:30am- yoga session from Yoga Chandra- stretch for better marine debris scooping. (outside gazebo)
11-11:30- Al Segars speaks about the shore birds & horseshoe crabs. (inside ARTworks)
11:30-noon- storytelling in the gazebo outside.
noon-12:30- Tony Mills speaks about reptiles & amphibians (inside ARTworks)
12:30-1:30pm- Rick Hubbard the Kazoo Guy (outside gazebo)
2-2:30- Dave Harter speaks on the predators of Port Royal Sound (inside ARTworks)
2-3pm - The Rose Family Band performs in the gazebo.
