Port Royal looks for events manager for The Shed (update: RFP closed)
Updated August 16: The RFP for an events manager and overall planner for The Shed in Port Royal has closed.

The town is expected to award the contract by mid-September.

Updated June 25: The Town of Port Royal has released an RFP in search of an events manager for The Shed.
Responses to the RFP are due back to the town by Aug. 10.

Reported June 10: It was with much hope that the community heard the Town of Port Royal would revive the long-ailing Shed event venue — but that was only half the battle.
The town then needed to find a way to capitalize on the 13,000 square feet of potential. And so now the town is soliciting proposals for persons or groups wanting to manage the space.
